SugarCRM Open Source Project Adopts GPL v3

SugarCRM recently announced that its upcoming release of Sugar Community Edition 5.0 will be licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) Version 3. The GPL is the most widely used free and open source (FOSS) license in the market.

Formerly known as Sugar Open Source, Sugar Community Edition 5.0 is expected to be released in September and will introduce innovative new platform features, CRM functionality, and community development tools.
